Cotehardie - This fitted dress from the 1400’s cause quite a stir all throughout Europe with the more prudish crowd. Made from your choice of linen, wool or silk with a linen or silk lining, this dress comes either laced or buttoned up in the front or back. The sleeves are finished by hand and the bottom hems of the dress are left open. For the lace-up option, we use grommets instead of sewn eyelets for durability over time and they come in a gold or silver finish.
